Always be in full view when speaking in order for your lips to be seen.
If the person needs glasses too encourage them to wear them. It is true you can hear better with your glasses on because you can see a persons lips. We glean a lot subconsciously from body language.
Speak slowly and clearly but don’t patronise
Don’t stand with the a window or a light behind you as the person can’t see you clearly
